My commitment
As an ADHD business owner, I understand that "standard" ways of working don't suit everyone. Bourton Business Support is committed to providing a low-pressure, sensory-friendly and neuro-inclusive experience for all clients.


How I make my services accessible:

  1. Phone-friendly deliverables: I provide key documents and updates in formats that are easy to read on a mobile device, reducing the friction of switching to a laptop.
  2. Sensory-friendly meetings: I offer "camera-optional" Zoom calls and am happy to adjust my lighting or background to reduce visual noise.
  3. Low-pressure communication: I use clear, numbered questions in my emails to reduce cognitive load and allow for quick, easy responses.
  4. Meeting transcripts: I use AI transcription (e.g. Otter.ai) for all strategy sessions so you have a searchable record of our conversation without needing to take notes.
  5. Calm workflows: I design "rhythmic" schedules that respect your energy levels and focus on clear, step-by-step progress rather than high-pressure deadlines.

 

Digital & marketing accessibility

I strive to ensure my digital presence and all client deliverables meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards where possible. This includes:

  1. Clear navigation: Using logical heading structures and descriptive links so that screen-reader users can navigate easily.
  2. Readability: Maintaining high colour contrast and using clean, legible fonts (Lato and Roboto) to support users with visual impairments or dyslexia.
  3. Accessible documents: Ensuring PDFs and reports are structured correctly for accessibility, following my "phone-friendly" philosophy.
  4. Plain English: Avoiding unnecessary jargon and "operational noise" to ensure my marketing and strategy documents are clear and easy to process.
